白轲（larry cata backer），古巴裔美国学者，美国宾夕法尼亚州立大学法学教授及国际事务教授，w·理查德与玛丽·艾什尔曼教席学者，美国著名公司法与宪法学专家，中国问题专家，1977年毕业于布兰戴斯大学，获学士学位；1979年毕业于哈佛大学肯尼迪政府学院，获公共政策硕士学位；1982年毕业于哥伦比亚大学，获法学博士（j.d.）学位。主要研究方向为宪法学、中国政治、公司法与公司治理、企业社会责任等。专著及合著、编辑著作有elements of law and the united states legal system、law and religion: cases, materials, and readings、lawyers making meaning: the semiotics of law in legal education ii、signs in law - a source book、comparative corporate law: united states, european union, china and japan等。
